Twin Composite Decks with Picture-Frame Detail
We have completed two full projects in Bentleigh — a suburb where compact blocks reward careful design. The first: twin composite decks with picture-frame detail, turning a divided backyard into two connected, usable zones. The second: a complete rebuild where the old deck came off, the frame was strengthened, and a new composite deck, narrow staircase and timber pergola went on.
Rebuilds are where buyers most often get caught out, because the part that matters — the subframe — is the part you cannot see in a quote. Both Bentleigh projects are documented stage by stage in our gallery, including the structural work underneath, so you can see exactly what you would be paying for.

Smaller, low decks often do not require a permit, but Glen Eira City Council rules depend on height, size and boundary position. We confirm this for your block at the free site visit.
Sometimes — but only after we inspect the frame. As our Bentleigh rebuild showed, old frames often need strengthening first. We will tell you honestly either way.
