Pool-side decks are unforgiving: constant water, splash zones, and ground that has to drain properly or the whole structure suffers. Our Pakenham project tackled all of it — a water-logged area beside the pool that held water for days, fixed with proper drainage before a new composite deck, rebuilt staircase and integrated deck lighting went in over the top.
That order of operations is the whole point. Most of the value in this build is invisible: the drainage solution under the boards. It is a clear example of our Elevated Build Standard™ — solve the ground first, then build the structure, then make it beautiful.
“We had a small area beside the pool with artificial grass that used to hold water for days. Adrian fixed the drainage properly and built a new deck over the area which completely transformed it. They also rebuilt our stair area.”

Yes. Drainage planning is part of our Elevated Build Standard™ — building over a wet area without solving the water first is how decks fail early.
