Composite Deck Rescue, Passage Completion, Cladding Screens & Pergola
Our Newport project was a rescue: a deck that had been started and left incomplete, turned into a finished outdoor space with composite decking, a completed side passage, cladding privacy screens and a pergola. Rescues are harder than new builds — you inherit someone else's decisions and have to work out which ones can stay.
Inner-west blocks like Newport's reward this kind of complete thinking. Decking, screens and pergola were designed as one space rather than three separate items, and the cladding screens solve the privacy problem that comes with neighbouring double-storey homes.
